This class is a mixed ability class.
It's suitable for those who have not done yoga before as well as those with some experience.
We practice traditional asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises).
Classes often have a theme. Details are posted to the CGY FB page a couple of days before the class. The themes vary to include:
Focus on different areas of the body i.e. the back
Focus on specific asanas (postures) i.e. standing postures
Focus on a particular yoga practice i.e. Candle Gazing
We also ensure that there is plenty of time for relaxation at the end of the class.
Class content varies but it's always a good idea to have the following yoga equipment with you should you need it:
A yoga mat (!)
A yoga bolster/pillow/large cushion
2 yoga blocks/2 books
A cushion
A blanket
A yoga strap/long scarf (not wool)

STARTS JANUARY 4 2021
This class is specifically designed for those who have never done yoga before or who are new to Curvy Girl Yoga.
You will be introduced to Curvy Girl Yoga's approach to yoga and will learn the most common asanas (postures) that we practice. You'll also learn pranayama (breathing exercises) as well as how to make the asanas (postures) work for you in your body.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification.
Class content varies but it's always a good idea to have the following yoga equipment with you should you need it:
A yoga mat (!)
A yoga bolster/pillow/large cushion
2 yoga blocks/2 books
A cushion
A blanket

This class is a mixture of restorative yoga, Yin yoga and chilled out relaxation.
It's suitable for all yoga practitioners from the beginner thru' to the experienced yogi!
Yoga accessories are used to support the body. This enables you to hold the asana (posture) for longer and thus, more readily drop into a state of relaxation.

Your very first class: £7.50/$10/8 Euros
Pay As You Go: £10/US$15/14 Euros per person, per class
1 months Unlimited Classes: £45/$65/52 Euros per person

All classes are currently on-line.
In joining me online for your yoga practice, please make sure you have a suitable, safe environment in which to do yoga.
Please place your mat & yourself where I can see you.
Also, please know that you practice at your own risk.
Classes are popular &, there is limited space. Please, therefore, book & pay for your mat space in advance. This guarantees your place.
Bookings will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
If you need to cancel a booking you have made for a class, please do so at least 24 hours before the class via the booking system.
In the unfortunate event of my having to cancel the class, you will be refunded
